Introduction to Color in Film Preliminary Exercise Primary

What is the objective of the post?

The objective of this post is to teach us the students and you the audience about how color affects the audience's mood and the film mood and how they correlate to each other by giving the setting more meaning and depth.

What is color in film?

Color can set the over all tone and mood of the film. For example, the use of red can give a romantic, angry, or scary tone which then can be applied to characters, settings, costumes, and camera frames to create a better understanding of the story and film.
Why is color in film significant to the audience?

Color in film is significant to the audience because it allows the audience to really grasp the  tone of the story and make them really feel as if they were there by giving them the same emotions and feelings as the characters.
